We will meet with you to examine your skin, review your medical history, and talk through your goals. You may need to pause certain skincare products or medications that increase sensitivity. We start by cleansing your skin and applying a topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable. Once your skin is numb, we begin the laser treatment using a customized combination of ablative and non-ablative energy. You may feel warmth or a light tingling sensation during the session, which may last an hour or more.
Mild redness and swelling are common for the first few days. Some patients experience light flaking or peeling as the skin begins to resurface. Healing time is flexible based on the settings used, but most patients resume regular activities within three to five days.
