INJECTABLES - BOTOX, PRP, DERMAL FILLERS, EXOSOMES, & FAT-TRANSFER
What is Botox?
Botulinum toxin injections are one of the most frequently requested treatments for men and women. Doctors use it in small doses to treat health concerns, including:
- Temporary smoothing of facial wrinkles and improving your appearance
- Severe underarm sweating
- Cervical dystonia - a neurological disorder that causes severe neck and shoulder muscle contractions
- Blepharospasm - uncontrollable blinking
- Strabismus - misaligned eyes
- Chronic migraine
- Overactive bladder
Botox injections work by temporarily freezing certain muscles or by blocking certain nerves. The effects last about three to twelve months, varying from patient to patient and the area of treatment. The most common side effects are pain, swelling, or bruising at the injection site. Injections in the face may also cause temporary drooping eyelids. You should not receive botulinum toxin injections if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

EXOSOMES
What are Exosomes?
Human cells are made up of various components called organelles. Exosomes form when these organelles fuse with the cell wall creating tiny sacs that are then released and taken up by other cells.
The exosomes carry important components within them like proteins, DNA, and RNA from one cell to another, modifying the function of the recipient cells.
How Exosomes Affect The Function of Other Cells
Scientists found that when a healthy cell sends an exosome to an unhealthy cell, the damaged cell begins to repair and regenerate itself.
BENEFITS OF EXOSOME FACIAL REJUVENATION THERAPY
Exosome facial rejuvenation can increase skin collagen in the treated areas by up to six-fold and also increases elastin levels by up to 300%. The increase in the collagen and elastin levels will result in:
- Visible reduction of fine lines, wrinkles and age spots
- Improved skin brightness and hydration
- Noticeable decrease in redness and skin irritation
- Improve the appearance of skin lesions and scars
- Noticeable improvement in skin texture and pore size
Who Can Benefit From Exosome Facial Rejuvenation?
Anyone who is experiencing any of the following skin problems can significantly benefit from our innovative Exosome Facial Rejuvenation:
- Acne
- Scaring
- Wrinkles that haven’t improved with other treatments
- Sagging skin
- Sun-damaged
- Age spots
- Uneven texture or enlarged pores
Exosomes and hair growth
Dermal papillae (DP) cells help regulate hair follicle activity. MicroRNAs are molecules that help regulate the way genes send communications. They are found in small sacs, known as exosomes.
The researchers looked at the exosomes of both the 2D and 3D cultured cell follicles. They noticed that in the 3D cultured cell follicles, the microRNA miR-218-5p was encouraging the gene communication that signals hair growth.
They confirmed this when they found that increasing the microRNA increased hair follicle activity, whereas inhibiting it stopped the hair follicle from functioning.
PRP - PLATELET-RICH PLASMA
What is PRP?
Also known as Platelet-Rich Plasma
It utilizes your own blood platelets to release growth factors and stimulate regeneration. PRP starts with a simple blood draw and uses a controlled separation process to remove almost all contaminants from your blood, leaving a pure platelet solution.
Practitioners may use microneedling with PRP to treat:
- acne scars
- surgical scars
- wrinkles and fine lines
- hyperpigmentation
- sun damage
- large pores
- uneven skin texture
The addition of PRP to microneedling may speed up the healing process and stimulate skin renewal, potentially producing better results than microneedling alone.
Acne:
The authors of a 2016 study looked at the benefits of adding PRP to microneedling for acne scars. In a trial of 50 people with acne scars, microneedling with distilled water led to a 45.84% improvement in acne scars. Microneedling with PRP improved acne scars by 62.20%. None of the participants reported any lasting side effects from the treatment.
According to a 2019 review of PRP microneedling for acne scars, various studies showed that the addition of PRP to microneedling:
- improved acne scarring
- provided higher patient satisfaction
- decreased the amount of downtime that people needed after the procedure
The number of treatments that a person receives will vary. People may need repeat treatments to see results from microneedling with PRP. Larger scars or burns may take longer to respond to treatment. If people are receiving PRP microneedling treatment for signs of aging skin, they may wish to have repeat treatments.
Microneedling with PRP can also take a few weeks to show results, as the body takes time to produce collagen. As a result, people can expect to keep seeing improvements in their skin in the weeks following their treatment.
People with acne scars may notice a gradual improvement in the skin in less than 9 months. People usually respond well to microneedling treatments and require only minimal recovery time. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, microneedling “is safe for all skin colors.”
